For Sale: 1986 Citroën 2CV6 Spécial

Member Wayne Lotherington is offering for sale his 1986 Citroen 2CV6 Spécial (he says very special!). Wayne comments:

My vehicle is "Lapopie". She's a road and people friendly 2CV6 and is looking for a new home. My cousin and I bought "Lapopie" from the Stumpy Gully Winery a couple of years ago where she had been a vineyard tour vehicle. We prepared her for the Capricorn Raid in 2024, but it turns out Western Australia's back roads are rougher than the french fields 2CVs were designed to tackle and poor "Lapopie" didn't complete the Raid. But that was then and this is now. "Lapopie" has been rebuilt and in many ways she's as good as new, starting with the new chassis. Other improvements include, 123 ignition, new starter motor, fuel pump, carburettor, shockers, and muffler. The interior is near perfect. The body shows a few signs of wear and tear but is in good condition. This lovely little car would suit anyone looking for an affordable and reliable 2CV where the toughest work has already been done.

"Lapopie" is also known as Engine Number 0906001911 and Club plate number 7070-H2 (not transferrable).
