Technical talk about D Series (and others) carburation and ignition systems

We all know the function that carburettors and distributers play but have you ever wondered about how they actually work and what's inside them? How do you set the distributor points gap or tweak you carburettor's idle or mixture screws? What preventative servicing do these components need? These and many more questions will be answered by Bauke Meijer our Tasmanian club member and mechanic extraordinaire. Bauke is visiting Victoria to attend the French Car Festival and has offered his time, expertise and infectious enthusiasm to run a technical workshop for us. He will be bringing examples of carbies and dissies with him and along with a whiteboard will explain all their secrets. Handouts will be available but bring your questions along as he's happy to answer them too.

COST: $5.00 per person - cash (to cover room hire)
